Welcome to SAKAL RELIEF FUND

The Sakal Relief Fund has been raising funds and extending financial assistance during natural calamities in India since 1942. Sakal Relief Fund is one of the largest donors in India. Mr. Pawar is Chairman of Board of Trustees.

The Sakal Relief Fund, which was initiated during the Bengal famine in 1942, and continues to collect funds through small and large contributions from the public. The fund has since then continued helping victims of floods, droughts, wars and such calamities.

Emergency assistance from "Sakal Relief Fund" for flood affected peoples in Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri and Raigad districts.

1. With the help of Vandemataram organization, 3 trucks of 42,000 forty two thousand water bottles were sent to Chiplun.

2. With the help of Oswal Bandhu Samaj, 500 households in Chiplun were provided with essential and foodgrains items worth Rs. 5 lakhs.

3. On behalf of "Sakal Relief Fund", one month's foodgrains worth one thousand rupees were sent to one thousand families in Chiplun and one thousand families in Mahad.

Floods have hit the districts of Kolhapur and Sangli hard with the city of Sangli completely marooned. As many as 223 villages in Kolhapur have been affected. Around 38,000 people are staying in relief camps in 152 places in Kolhapur district.

We’re raising funds to provide daily essentials, food, clothes, medicines and relief materials in that region.

Your contribution will help us intervene in Kolhapur and Sangli through humanitarian aid kits and medical kits.

This year 2019 we have adopted 100 villages across Maharashtra to work for Desilting.
