During the out break of Corona (covid 19) situation to all the artists and folk artists related to the field of drama and folk art. All drama theatre is closed during corona & It has a large number of back stage artists and folk artists. Back stage artists work for meager wages. They are also facing many difficulties due to the closure of work due to corona and lockdown. Knowing the problems of back stage artists and folk artists, Mrunal Pawar - Director, Sakal Media Group, distributed essential food kits to 150 back stage artists on behalf of Sakal Relief Fund. The kit includes essential items like wheat, sugar, groundnuts, Tur dal, oil, pohe, soap etc.

Dr. Satish Desai and a large number of back stage artists and folk artists were present. On this occasion, Dr. Satish Desai and Mahendra Pisal informed about the various relief projects implemented under "Sakal Relief Fund" in Corona's situation.

During outbreak corona (Covid 19) situation 10,000 N-95 masks were distributed on behalf of NCL Venture Centers, Cognizant Foundation and through "Sakal Relief Fund" for the safety of PMPL staff.

During out break of corona situation the Pune Agricultural Produce Market Committee handed over 40 sanitizer stands and 120 liters of sanitizer to Committee Administrator Madhukant Garad on behalf of Sakal Relief Fund for public toilets in the market yard and to prevent the spread of corona. Thousands of people from different parts of the district come to the market yard every day for shopping. Therefore, these sanitizers and stands have been provided for the safety of the citizens outside the public toilets here. Committee member Mr. Rajesh Shaha , Deputy Secretary of the Market Committee Mr.Satish Konde, Assistant Secretary Mr.Deepak Shinde, Deputy Engineer Mr. Arvind Fartade along with the staff of the Market Committee were present.

Retired female police officer Mrs. Sunita Pardeshi had donated Rs. 50,000/- to Sakal Relief Fund. Through this donation essential grocery kits worth Rs. 1000/- were distributed to 25 Hamal laborers and 25 needy Anganwadi women helpers at Market Yard under Sakal Relief Fund.

De-Silting Activity for Drought Free Maharashtra

We have completed De- silting work in 588 villages from the year 2013, across Maharashtra which has been helpful for the villages to have their own source of water. For the same we have contributed an amount more than 11 Crores INR.
This year 2019 we have adopted 100 villages across Maharashtra to work for Desilting.
