Water Conservation Project for Drought Relief

Since 2013, the stream and lake de-silting project has been implemented in Maharashtra for drought relief. So far, the stream and lake de-silting project has been implemented in 917 villages approx at a cost of about Rs. 17 crore 34 lakh and about 1 thousand 25 crore liters of water storage and water storage capacity has been created in all the villages. This project has benefited approx 2 crore 12 lakh 50 thousand villagers.
